A paint enhancement is a machine applied paint sealant offering up to 12 months of protection. It's much like a wax on steroids. It'll hide minor imperfections while also protecting your vehicles paint from UV damage as seen in this picture.

PAINT POLISHING $400

Removes the appearance of light scratches and swirls marks most often caused by the local car wash. This one-step correction Refines the paint by about 30-50% depending on vehicle condition. This is best used to restore lost luster not for heavy clear coat imperfection.

PAINT CORRECTION $800

Paint correction typically refers to a two-step process where an initial heavy cut compound is applied, followed by a polishing stage to refine the finish and restore the vehicle's shine. Pictured here is a before and after a 2-step correction on a heavily oxidized hood. Typically, this much damage requires a 3rd or 4th step. Deep scratches that go beyond the vehicle's clear coat will not be removed with a correction. That would require a repaint. If you can feel it with your fingernail, it's beyond the clear coat.

I HAVE A DEEP SCRATCH CAN YOU FIX IT?

Scratches that go beyond the clear coat will require more than the cosmetic repair that is a paint correction. Deep scratches will require a body shop to be truly repaired; however we can greatly reduce the appearance of most scratches, and most customers are satisfied with the end results. Sometimes we can sand and add paint for reduced visibility, however upon close inspection it will always be noticeable that a paint touch up was done.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM A PAINT ENHANCEMENT?

A paint enhancement is an affordable option for customers with tired or swirled paint that don't have the budget for a proper fix. This service is applied with a machine and removes about 10% of imperfections but will hide up to 40% for up to 12 months! A paint enhancement is a machine applied paint sealant. Think of a sealant as wax on steroids.

WILL A POLISH BE ENOUGHT O FIX MY PAINT?

This depends on how close to flawless you want. Perfection isn't something that is achievable, but we aim for it. A single-step polish service removes 30-50% or imperfection. It'll restore luster and add depth to your paint again. We prefer to lay eyes on our project, if you can stop in, please do. We will do a free assessment and sometimes show you on the spot what a polish vs. a two-step will look like so you know what results you will realistically get.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO POLISH MY VEHICLE?

A single-step polish can take anywhere from 3-6 hours on average. It'll depend on the amount of prep work needed and size of vehicle.

HOW COME SOME SHOPS TAKE DAYS FOR CORRECTION AND YOU DON'T?

There isn't a necessity for days on end to correct paint, there is no down time like a painting service. Clear coat is the only layer of paint we can address with a paint correction; it's less than 3 mils thick. That's less than a post it note. Each pass with a polisher, shaves off microns of clear coat, it is simply not safe to spend hours on any single spot it'll burn through your clear coat! Don't buy into it. Smoke and mirrors to make you believe they are worth more by keeping your vehicle parked in the bay longer. We're efficient at what we do, certified and highly skilled.

CAN PAINT CORRECTION BE DONE ON VINTAGE CARS WITH SINGLE-STAGE PAINT?

Yes, paint correction is possible on single-stage paint but requires special care to avoid removing too much pigment, as these paints lack a clear coat for protection.

IS PAINT POLISHING THE SAME AS BUFFING?

Not exactly. While they both require the same technique what differentiates the two is the material grit used to remove defects. Buffing is generally the more aggressive technique often called cutting or heavy cutting while polish is a finer grit meant to remove micro abrasion like swirls.
