Frequently asked questions

How often should I wash my car?

As often as you see fit! Avoid carwashes with bristle brushes as they DO cause damage even if you can't see it. Hand washes or touchless washes are the only way you should take care of your car. If you prefer to wash at home use a PH neutral soap, out of direct sunlight on a cool to the touch surface.

How do I stop getting tire shine sling on my car?

Tire dressing comes in two forms water based and silicone based. Silicone lasts longer; however, it is more likely to brown your tires and degrade the rubber at a micro level. Both are prone to tire sling, the way to avoid it is to allow at least 15 minutes for the product to dry before driving away!

Why won't these water spots go away?

Water spots are caused by high alkaline mineral deposits that are left to dry on the vehicle. As the water evaporate it leaves the minerals behind. The longer the water spots are left unaddressed the more difficult to remove. Once it reaches a certain point, the only way to remove is with a machine.

What are iron deposits and why should I treat them?

Iron is another way to say rust. While treated iron deposits won't help you once that rust spot forms, it does however help reduce the ones you can't see yet come to fruition. Iron deposits come from things like brake dust, railways, or rock chips getting down to the base coat. Treatment is a preventative measure not a fix to rust spots.

How can I best care for my brand-new car?

The number one tip to maintaining your vehicles value is to protect its paint. If you are one who purchases a phone case and screen protector for your phone, then you see the value in protecting an asset. Get a clear bra paint protection film to shield your vehicle from the inevitable rock chips of Colorado.

What is the purpose of clay baring my car?

Your vehicles clear coat act much like the top layer of our skin. It shields what's benefit however it is porous, and contamination finds its way in and stay there. A clay bar service pulls all that stuff out much like exfoliating your skin! If you run your finger across your paint and it doesn't feel baby butt smooth, it's contaminated.
